So today my family was supposed to go to Disneyland to celebrate my youngest sister's birthday. After much harassment about Are you sure the park hours you looked up are right? You better not be wrong! and Did you get the confirmation email so your sister can get in free? yesterday, I am relieved that it's all settled (do not plan last minute theme park trips with my family, seriously.) So I wake up early this morning (at 7:30 stop laughing) onlyyyyyy...
We're not going. Because it's "cold and windy outside." We might go tomorrow, but you know it is winter, and it's not like the weather is going to be radically different tomorrow.
G-guys.
I mean I get it, if you're going to blow hundreds of dollars just on admittance, yeah I'd want the weather and everything about the day to be absolutely perfect too. But it was just the delivery of "it's cold and windy!" that was just kind of utterly hilarious.

And again, if I had twitter, this is what I would've reported:
- Black British Airways employee ushered us away from the British Airways counters because we were "blocking the way for BA customers", and didn't realize until her Deputy Manager told her to back off that WE ARE in fact, BA customers and not waiting for China Southern to open counters. --''
- Deputy Manager asked me if I have a GREEN CARD and I told her that the passport you're holding is proof of my CITIZENSHIP.
- She then informed me that she cannot possibly let me check in my baggage unless I remove 4kg from them AND pay $50/per luggage.
- ...And that I only have five minutes to do so because otherwise they can't be checked in, despite the fact that there were much later BA customers coming up behind us who hadn't even checked in yet (unlike I, who checked in online). But maybe because they're BRITISH they get a break.
- I was then informed that I can take my xmas presents on board, and LAX allowed me to take my xmas present on board. It wasn't till Heathrow that the woman told me that they needed to xray the gift again but that it wasn't good enough, that I'd have to "open the box up so we can see what size they are". The most ridiculous thing ever, no christmas spirit what-so-ever, for the problem was not "maybe there's a bomb in your gift" but the problem was "what sizes are in there". --'
- Once I opened the gift that I explained to her my husband bought me last minute and very sweetly asked me to take on board and that I'd been through xray in LAX with no problems--she asked me if I wanted to throw away two thirds of my present since they are 25ml over the 100ml limit. She then proceeded to tell me that I could also exit the airport and re-check in and put them as luggage, at which point I asked her how that would be possible and she said of course I would have to PAY for it but that it was entirely possible. I told her I've already paid for it so if you want them that much JUST TAKE THEM.
- Decided I never want to fly a) British Airways and b) through Heathrow airport
- Shared this sentiment with a businessman going to Madrid who complained it was his only option, but that I have many options that I should definitely consider next time.
- Heathrow airport employees informed me that the BA flight to Helsinki is late so there's no knowing where it'll stop (no clue where the gate is) or when it will arrive so it's better to just walk back to the CENTER OF THE AIRPORT so that each direction would be nearby.
- 40 mins after the estimated take off time I saw that they had decided on the farthest gate from the CENTER OF THE AIRPORT.
- The flight to Helsinki took off one hour later than estimated and a non-existing snowstorm was blamed.
- Did I mention that the flight to Heathrow was actually delayed by 30 min due to the plane being too dirty for flight and that Heathrow runways were double booked and we had to circle London for 20 min before we could land? And that after we landed we waited another 20 min for them to find us a gate and then another good 10 min to find us one of those tubes to get us into the airport? -___________________-;;; In the end we were supposed to arrive at 3:05PM British time and I didn't get out till about 4:15PM, which means that half of the passengers missed their connecting flight.
- On the way to Helsinki the Finnair employees had absolutely no idea about anything. All they could tell us was, yes, you will miss your connecting flight, and no we don't know what you can do about that except ask our coworkers at the airport.
- At the airport, we waited in line for 15min to find out what to do since we were half an hour late and missed our connecting flight. It was announced that Turku/Tampere goers would be taken home by taxi. A woman then asked "What about our luggages? We have to wait for them don't we?" At which point the employee realized that "Yes, you will".
- Around 40 min later the man announced that our luggage might not come any time soon and that we should just file missing baggage and go on home so that the luggage can be delivered to us the next day.
- I managed to get in a taxi around 1AM.
- Arrived in Turku at 3AM.
- Luggage #1 arrived 3 days later.
- Luggage #2 is still unfound.

That .gif pretty much represents my life guys. Also most of today, where I went places and continually forgot to do what I was supposed to do there. (Such as, going to Target and then coming back with nothing.) I think the only place which I remembered to do what I went for was Carl's Jr. l-lol
